We had a wonderful stay with his time and suggestions for us to enjoy our stay.
Sensational breakfast with lots of food, pleasant staff. Great area, very central location close to museums, the Parliament, shops and restaurants, really good restaurants.

We have spent 6 days in classic room with single bed, the best features and high speed internet, everything was great. The food at the in-house restaurant was delightful, liked this place.

The hotel was a nice comfy base for enjoying a great area, really close to a nation's capital, and many shops. The rooms were reasonably spacious and luxurious with hypo-allergenic pillows. The location was marvellous - ease of access to Structure. There was a broiler restaurant nearby. The private parking was nearby, top-notch service. We received wake up service for free, a nice bonus.

I was here for 6 nights and ate at broiler restaurant for breakfast. The staff was welcoming and very polite, top-notch services. The location of the hotel was marvellous and unbeatable, on the front in the middle of a music festival...

The Lord Elgin is clean, elegant and situated within walking distance of all of the action in downtown Ottawa. Staff were accommodating, and the bed was comfortable; the sheets must have had a high thread count because I have never fallen asleep in a hotel with such ease. I am amazed by how inexpensive it is to stay at the Elgin, visitors get a lot of value for the little they pay.

My wife and I got a very good deal for a single-night, getaway stay (we do this, at this hotel, quite alot). The room was spacious, scrupulously clean, and very comfortable (as always), and (this time) very convenient (second floor, close to elevators).

Helpful staff. Efficient service (baggage, parking, etc.). Location. Spacious well-furnished room.
Restaurant under construction, so no Sunday morning brunch! King-size bed was very hard. Not especially comfortable for sleeping.
